Hey a win would have tied us with fellow Tuscans Empoli for first place. But our eleventh tie of the season against Triestina still puts us 3rd !. But like Mr. Acori says : In a long tournament like this one consistency goes a long way. We now know Livorno are a hard team to beat but we need to stop dominating games and getting 1 point out of it. It’s time to string a run of ugly wins if we have to.

But no win can be ugly if Ale Diamanti continues pulling shots out of his ass. The kid can seriously kick it ! His left foot is surgical and he’s starting to develop in a more complete and well-rounded player of Serie A caliber. Diamanti Volleyed in a corner from the top of the box to give Livorno the lead on Saturday. You’ll see in the highlights but this kid is seriously starting to shine week in and week out. I feel like I’m writing the same thing week in a week out ; Draw with a nice Diamanti goal, the midfield was solid, Livorno dominated but they can’t seem to find that darned winning goal. Tavano and Danilevicius missed easy goals and Diamanti created many chances for himself and others and the defense was solid.

Pretty much the same story…a part from the fact that De Lucia is looking great in Serie B and Aleandro Rosi is gonna be a star someday. Slow and steady towards Serie A…

Check out the goals !

TRIESTINA 1-1 LIVORNO

TRIESTINA (4-4-2): Agazzi, Milani, Cottafava, Minelli, Rullo, Antonelli, Allegretti, Princivalli, Tabbiani (28′ st Gorgone), Testini, Della Rocca (14′ st Ardemagni). (1 Dei, 86 Cacciatore, 66 Lima, 44 Piangerelli, 10 Figoli). All. Maran.

LIVORNO (4-3-1-2): De Lucia, Rosi, Perticone, Miglionico, Bonetto, Pulzetti (29′ st Candreva), Loviso (41′ st Filippini), Bergvold, Diamanti, Tavano, Danilevicius (31′ st Laurito). (19 Mazzoni, 46 Rizza, 66 Galante, 22 Volpe). All. Acori.

Another loss less week and 2 points added to the board. Livorno managed to tie Bari 0-0 last Tuesday and obtained the same scoreline on Saturday in the Derby with Grosseto.

I can’t say that I’m happy with the results but at least we’re still unbeaten in Serie B. The game versus Bari saw Acori juggle with many notable absences. Francesco Tavano played awfully but to his defence he was left alone for a large part of the game.

Thanks to Alfonso De Lucia, Livorno managed to come back home with one point. Even Leonardo Acori claimed that Livorno was lucky to get the draw against a surprisingly lively and combative Bari side. We can now officially add them to the list of realistic Serie A hopefuls. Antonio Conte is really doing something special with this Bari side.
I didn’t manage to see the game and I don’t have any highlights or stats for you so let’s move on to yet another Tuscan Derby…

But don’t forget www.livornochannel.com for un-embeddable full highlights…

Livorno 0-0 Grosseto.

The positive thing is the clean sheets. Livorno’s defense is solid and if it weren’t for Acerbis’s crazy display in front of Grosseto’s net, Livorno would have taken all 3 points from this game. As predicted, Francesco Tavano disappeared and The Lithuanian Non-sensation Danilevicius managed to choke in front of an easy goal like only he can ! Diamanti’s zigzagging and Bonetto’s daring runs didn’t manage to get the win.

LIVORNO-GROSSETO 0-0

LIVORNO (4-3-2-1): De Lucia 6; Rosi 6, Grandoni , Perticone 6,5, Bonetto 6,5; Pulzetti 6 (32’ st A. Filippini 4), Loviso 5 (7’ st Migliorini 6,5), Candreva 6 (41’ st E.Filippini sv); Diamanti 7, Tavano 5,5; Danilevicius 5. A disp: Mazzoni, Miglionico, A. Filippini, E.Filippini, Migliorini, Volpe, Paulinho. All. Acori 5,5.

GROSSETO (4-1-4-1): Acerbis 6,5; Freddi 6, Porchia 6, Stendardo 6, Abruzzese 6; Cordova 6; Gessa 6,5,Valeri 6 (24’ pt Vitiello 6,5), Consonni 6,5, Gessa 6,5 (38’ pt Sansovini 6), Lazzari 6; Sforzini 5,5 (32’ st Pichlmann sv). A disp: Caparco, Federici, Vitiello, Carparelli, Suppa, Sansovini, Pichlmann. All. Gustinetti 6,5.

The thing is that defence is solid with Grandoni and a surprisingly excellent Perticone, Nicola Candreva’s playing well enough that he should start giving Tavano and the Lithuanian a run for their starting shirt soon, Pulzetti and Diamanti are starting to add continuity to their good play and Aleandro Rosi is a pleasant surprise at left back. All we need is for Tavano to show up more than once every 5 games, Danilevicius needs to start bagging those easy goals and Massimo Loviso needs to step it up a notch and remind us why he was once an Italian U21 regular.

We’re still in 10th place with 9 points and have an important game against Empoli, that’s right a 3rd Tuscan derby in 3 weeks….

Forza Labronici !

Now on to Livorno for the Coppa Italia…

What a frustrating game !!!

The only reason I’m not extremely pissed off right now is because we’re still mathematically in the running towards being Serie A next non-relegated team. Chances are looking crappy but it’s still a possibility! Ok, i know that we have about the same chances of not going down as Italian Parents have of seeing their 29 year old son moving out of the house, but like Yogi Bear would say : I don’t hear no fat lady singing just yet!

How Low can you go !

We had the chance to witness what happens when Marco Amelia plays like a mere mortal and not a goalie with superpowers. But above all,Fernando Orsi managed in 1 game to remind me why I hated him since the very beginning of the season; Tristan from the start ? Then Rossini ? What the hell ? Diamonds aren’t only a girl’s best friend Nando !!! How about having some balls their Nando ? Diamanti’s on freakin’ fire and you chose to play Tristan,Tavano and Rossini before the Diamond in the rough !? Ma chè Cazzo !

Orsi has managed to pick up…let me see…2 points all year TWO DAMN IT! GC Camolese managed to win 1 game at least ; Hell ! he even beat AC Milan and managed to draw Roma twice! How can you go from conceding 1 goal in Roma, to let 3 goals in against a bored/experimental Atalanta squad ? ( I mean Atalanta doesn’t even have an Offside Blog! How less credible can a club get?) Aldo Spinelli might as well bring back Camolese for the next 2 games, because he looks like he’s doing everything on purpose to see Livorno go down. Aldo ! A team in Serie B is harder to sell than a Serie A squad you yellow raincoat wearing lunatic !

Lowlights, but 20 Euros GRATIS! :

MARCATORI: Doni (A) al 12′ s.t., Ferreira Pinto (A) al 15′ s.t., Rossini (L) al 20′ s.t., Pavan (L) al 38′ s.t., Padoin (A) al 44′ s.t..
ATALANTA (4-4-1-1): Coppola; Rivalta, Talamonti (23′ st Pellegrino), Manfredini, Bellini; Ferreira Pinto, Tissone (32′ st Bonaventura sv), Guarente, Padoin; Doni (16′ st Marconi); Floccari. (Ivan, Belleri, Paolucci, Fissore). All. Del Neri

LIVORNO (3-5-2): Amelia; Grandoni, Pavan, Knezevic; Balleri (22′ st Diamanti), Loviso, Bergvold (12′ st Pulzetti), A. Filippini, Pasquale; Tavano, Tristan (1′ st Rossini). (De Lucia, Filippini, Giannichedda, Melara). All. Orsi.
Arbitro: Tagliavento di Terni.

NOTE: spettatori 6.500. Ammoniti: Pavan, Knezevic, Pasquale e Guarente per gioco falloso, Bellini per fallo di mano. Angoli: 3-2 per il Livorno Recupero: 1′ e 4′

Frustrating! Frustrating! Frustrating!

GC Camolese somehow got the best out of this restrictive (to say the least) roster of players. Unfortunately, Fernando Orsi thinks Tavano and Tristan are the players they once were.

Tavano : It’s so frustrating to see Francesco Tavano suck it hard week in and week out.
I won’t give him more than 23 words.

Bogdani : Where the hell is Bogdani ? I’m checkin’ on Mapquest (ok, google Maps) and I’m only finding

Tristan ; My mourning of Super Depor Diegol Tristan ‘s career ended 2 weeks after his goal against Roma.

Filippini : Both of them, they try so freakin’ hard and they always leave it all on the pitch at the end of each and every game, but they both lack the height, pace and overall talent. These 2 would be gods in Serie B/C but they don’t cut it when it comes to performing in Serie A.

Loviso : Common ! Ex-Italia U-21 my ass !

Rossini : please don’t get me started on this guy! He’s a scrapper I’ll give him that, he gives his all and works hard. But saying he has limited talent is more of an understatement than saying that Dane Cook sucks or Mary-Kate Olsen is talented and thin. This Algonquin looking striker needs to be a 5th option at best !

Grandoni : Good defender, decent player and stupid decision maker.

Pasquale : I’m pissed because this Champions League-experienced-versatile-Inter Homegrown- Back is one of the few players you can have some expectations from. He didn’t deliver all freakin’ season long.

Bergvold, Amelia, Knezevic, Galante, Daniele – Rosso Directo – De Vezze, Pulzetti, Bogdani, Giannichedda and Diamanti are the only players that could be useful to a Serie A team.Thank god we have 2 players going to Euro 2008 because if you round up all of the names on the roster and say them out loud, it sounds a lot like a midtable Serie B team. Come to think of it ….

Forza Ragazzi ! 6 punti porco dio ! 6 punti Cazzo !

I didn’t get the chance to see the game, but I’m sure Vincent, who was at the Armando Picchi for this game, will insert some juicy tidbits in the comment thread once he sobers up from the high (or Low) of attending a game in Livorno. Aron also talked about how we got screwed on a couple of occasions by the refs.

4-1 isn’t that great but we all know that Livorno isn’t the best squad at home, especially if Marco Amelia isn’t keeping the nets. Unfortunately, Pippo managed to score a hat trick, bringing his total for the season at 9 goals, 33% of those happened this afternoon god damn it ! They beat us at home and we beat them at home. If you have told me at the beginning of the season that Livorno would take 3 points from AC Milan this year, I would have taken it right away.

We’re back at the bottom of the standings and we now get the chance to appreciate the company of Reggina and Parma in the bottom 3.

We gotta give it our all in the last 3 games, Salvation is still a mathematical probability

Highlights ! Get ‘em while you still can

A mix of bad luck, Marco Storari awesomeness, Erjon Bogdani awkwardness, Bobby Freshwater dangerousness, Francesco Tavano dumbassness and you get to see Livorno lose 6 points at home to the hands of a very lively Cagliari. Contrary to the Amaranto Liberation Army’s andata game versus the Sardinians, this game was a pleasure for the eye. Both teams were attacking with the fierceness only a heated relegation battle atmosphere can provide.

Marco Amelia was forced to make some great saves and just watching Roberto Acquafresca play, from an azzurri fan’s point of view, was a beautiful thing that gives me much hope for the future.(Now if Canini can continue staying healthy and developing properly Caglirari might have something quite interesting for the upcoming years) I’m pretty sure la Nazionale will soon have its new Cristian Vieri, the glory years version. Nice early goal on a team effort put the Amaranto 1 up after 2 minutes but Unfortunately, Marco Amelia stupidly created the almost-instant fresh equaliser by kicking the ball straight on the foot of a Sardinian. Bam 1-1 !

2nd half was a Sardinian story ; Acquafresca slots in his second sweetly for the winner and Livorno get a goal disallowed for a dogdy offside call. 2-1 ! Livorno back to the basement

Highlight while they last :

LIVORNO-CAGLIARI 1-2 (Primo tempo 1-1)

MARCATORI: Galante (L) al 2′ p.t.; Acquafresca (C) al 10′ p.t. e 9′ s.t.

LIVORNO (3-5-2): Amelia; Grandoni, Knezevic, Galante; Pulzetti, De Vezze (E.Filippini dal 33′ s.t.), Bergvold (Bogdani dal 5′ s.t.), A.Filippini (Rossini dal 42′ s.t.), Pasquale; Diamanti, Tavano. All. Camolese.

CAGLIARI (4-3-2-1): Storari; Pisano, Lopez, Canini, Agostini; Biondini, Conti, Parola; Jeda (Fini dal 42′ s.t.), Cossu (Foggia dal 22′ s.t.); Acquafresca (Matri dal 45′ s.t.). All: Ballardini.

ARBITRO: Stefano Farina di Novi Ligure.

NOTE: Spettatori 13.000.

Ammoniti: Agostini (C), E. Filippini (L), Canini (C), Grandoni (L), Cossu (C), Parola (C).

Let me cliché you with ; this game was the tale of 2 halves. The Burgundy (now-basement) Boys could have easily come out of the 1st half at least a goal up. If it wasn’t for Francesco Tavano’s unbelievable, and I mean How – the – Fuck – did – you – miss – that, incredibile , miss Livorno would have been 2 up before the game clock ticked ten .
To Jeremy’s defense, Cagliari could have easily won this game 5-1, Bobby – I ain’t polish – Freshwater should have scored at least 3 just for Karmic purposes. At least, this was an exciting heart pumping game.

Livorno have finally found the right mix of players to head into to the very final stretch of this season. But this right recipe comes a little too late, bottom of the basement late. The midfield is solid with De Vezze – Bergvold – Pulzetti and The mildly successful experience of partnering Tristan and Tavano is long gone and Ale Diamanti has clearly merited his titolare shirt. The Diamond tested Marco Storari’s gloves on more than one occasion and managed to shrug off his ball hogging problem for the afternoon. With Diamanti changing his : if ball hits foot kick hard towards goal mentality he’.ll be able to play some regular Serie A ball in my opinion he’s like a homeless man’s Cassano (with Lupus and Leprecy of course)

If it wasn’t for Tavano’s excellent Houdini impersonation ( Tavano looks like the resurrection of his old Empoli self only 1 out of every 3 games, this needs to change now ) Livorno are looking down at Cagliari instead of up.

Unorganisation :

Will someone please explain to me the stupidness of inserting Erjon Bogdani for a more than excellent Martin Bergvold ? That fucked up the whole equilibrium of Livorno’s midfield and Attack .

GC Camels : Ora la delusione è da assorbire velocemente. Dobbiamo lottare fino a che la matematica non dirà qualcosa di diverso”.

No shit Sherlock, but is there also a mathematical problem that could be resolved by not putting Erjon Bogdani on the field for your most dangerous Danish midfielder ?

Bogdani sucks as a Midfielder, but not his fault

Good things :

Team morale looks great at least

Bergvold’s back

Diamanti’s is less rough

The Picchi was semi packed

Fausto Rossini didn’t step on the pitch

Only 4 corners allowed

Bad things:

8 corners, no win

Another dubious disallowed goal

Livorno lie in last place god damn it !

Finally a message for Aldo Spinelli ; STOP WEARING THAT STUPID YELLOW RAINCOAT! IT’S NOT LUCKY ANYMORE’ JUST BURN IT!

Forza Ragazzi C’è ancora tempo !

Now this is what I would call disappointing from a point-in-the-standings kind of view. Livorno are in 17th place and are looking down at the relegation zone like they wanna jump in! But Livorno played well in this game, Let’s not forget Sampdoria’s a more than decent team with a world class baby boy makin’ a comeback from his recent stupid suspension. It’s clear that Sampdoria are the more talented team and deserved to win on Sunday, but Livorno beat them fairly during the 1st encounter of the year and the Amaranto Liberation Army certainly didn’t deserve to lose. Tavano’s disallowed goal was nothing if not incomprehensible ! If Tavano’s goal, off a great save-and-pass by Amelia, stands (which it should have because the Ref’s assistant (i.e. closer to the play) thought the goal was legitimate) (or Sampdoria needs to play comeback ball for the next half hour). The momentum and pace of the game change entirely. Add that to the fact that Accardi should have been sent off and it’s a whole other ball game.

I’m not saying Sampdoria’s Southern Striking Sensation wouldn’t have managed lead his team to two goals, I’m just saying with Marco Amelia on fire, I was fancying the chances at all 3 points, or at least 2. But Maggio and Bonazzolli closed up the deal. God damn it Cassano has the potential to be a Serie A Sunday SuperHero. He’s amazing on the ball, with the ball, without it He’s the most talented supporting strikers in years and should have already 15 goals for the Azzurri. But he needs more attention than my 1 year old nephew ! He’s always complaining and in his better moments he’s reaching out to the crowd for applause and support. You’re a Calcio player Antò Not a Fuckin’ Pop Star ! You can’t be an overweight, Drunken, Cracked out rock star that gets to go to rehab 8 months of the year and still be adored by your obsessed fans. You need to put that dream on hold for the next 8-9 years and then you can get your drink on like the Best of them, George Best that is !

GC Camolese! What’d’you think about this game :

“We are very disappointed in the result,But we are aware that the team is improving.

We created many goal scoring opportunities and there are also many doubts on some situations in which the referee whistled against us, and we were very close to scoring

We are recovering some players who were injured like Bergvold and Pulzetti, and this must be seen as a positive sign.

“During this part of the season, these incidents are not coming our way. These are things which could have changed the game in our favour”

At least Livorno are showing signs of improvement, I have to agree with Camolese on that won. I’m positive the Tavano-Diamanti Tandem is the way to go from now on. Rossini needs to disappear, and Bogdani and Tristan can be used if tactical need be. Bergvold is back in form and Pulzetti will get a week off next week to work on his minor, yet nagging, ailments after picking up that last booking for arguing with the Almighty referee. Good news: we’re going to see some Sidny action soon. Maybe Edgar Alvarez in a 4-4-2 but be assured the right side of the flank will be patrolled by an American. Bad news is Davide Balleri is out for at least 3 weeks. Oh yeah and don’t forget to insert the requisite, now taken for granted, that : We’d – be – even – lower – in – the – table – if – it -weren’t – for – Marco – Amelia, where ever you like.

Livorno manages to stay above water for another 7 days. Kudos to Giancarlo Camolese for sending out the 3-4-1-2 out there but the trident attack didn’t produce a single goal.

Francesco Tavano started to show us some glimpses of his Valencia/Roma bad old days, let’s just say that continuity isn’t his strong suit.

A full 3 points would have done us some mighty good. It’s unfortunate because Livorno managed many chances on goal and looked like the most deserving team out there. They earned at least 7 dangerously placed free kicks.

In Livorno’s defence, Siena Keeper Manninger made some splendid saves all Sunday afternoon.

More disorganisation :

-Nico Pulzetti is confirming himself as a Serie A grade midfielder

-Diamanti still needs a little polishing

-Giovanni Pasquale has shrugged off his recent poor displays and played a fine game

- Federica Ridolfi needs to make it to the Picchi way more often

- Francesco Tavano should have scored at least twice

-Fausto Rossini still sucks

No highlights, but no goals. What you’re not going to see is Tavano missing 2 great chances, De Vezze, Pasquale, Tristan and Diamanti coming close with shots from long range, Alex Manninger make some greats saves and Sidny not playing

Let’s just say it didn’t look like this :

*Jesus died on Friday so that’s why all the Serie A games were being played on Saturday!
But don’t worry people Jesus’ll be back on Monday all rejuvenated, resurrected and everything.

GC Camolese tried to mix things up against Udinese. The tiny tactician threw out a 4-4-1-1 on the field with Diamanti and Tristan up top and Pasquale and Edgar Alvarez patrolling the wings and a 4 Central Back defensive quartet.

Fabio Quagliarella scored a screamer after 19 minutes but Livorno really came alive after that. Unfortunately they didn’t manage to bury any of the scoring chances they had and Antonio Di Natale sealed the deal right after the start of the 2nd half and the fat lady sang.

Udinese was the better/most talented team on the field but Livorno need to profit from their chances…

Bad News:

1)	The Fillipini twins try hard, but trying won’t cut it if you want to stay in Serie A

2)	Martin Bergvold is still injured

3)	Giovanni Pasquale is de-evolving as a soccer player

4)	Fausto Rossini sucks!

5)	No one can provide Tristan or Diamanti with a decent ball

Good News :

1) Marco Amelia’s back!

2) Livorno will be facing Siena, Sampdoria and Cagliari. We have a chance to make something out of this

3) Martin Bergvold’ll be back eventually

4) Diego Tristan is trying at least

5) At least we’re still 1 point above the relegation zone…

Sorry for the short Review and non-preview but I got a bunch of food to eat over the next 2 days so I’ll see you guys on Monday !

Erjon Bogdani managed to score against one of his old clubs but Livorno only garnered 1 measly point at home. This game was a strange one and I was split screened between Livorno and the Derby. Honestly it looked like Portugal vs Greece 2004. Livorno managed at least 75 % possession in the 1st half, were looking as dangerous as ever and then Reggina pulled a Franco Brienza out of their asses and managed to score on the only opportunity they had all game (And I get the feeling Marco would have stopped that shot)

1-1 is a crappy score, especially after seeing Diamanti work the other Amaranto defense all night. Ale Diamanti needs to learn how to distribute a bit better, no one’s knocking on his talent but his decision making needs some work. I’m sure GC Camolese will give him another chance on Sunday, seeing how Diamanti was playing Serie C1 ball last year. Livorno ended the game with a Andalusian-Italian-Albanian trident with Tristan coming in with Bogdani and Diamanti. Even Tavano made a 25 minute cameo. Unfortunately, Reggina keeper Campagnolo managed to channel his inner-Marco Amelia to save Reggina from defeat.

Picking up 3 points was a must against fellow Amaranto basement boys, but at least we managed 4 out of 6 against a direct opponent.

Livorno managed to open the score with a sweet strike from, of all people, Jose Vidigal. The Portuguese geezer smacked in a Tavano pass passed Parma keeper Bucchi to make it 1-1 after 42 mins. Livorno looked like the likeliest to score all through the 1st half.
Diego Tristan and Francesco Tavano showed some flashes of brilliance, and just need some minor fine-tuning to become semi-lethal. The Amaranto’s Knezevic-less back line managed to avoid confusion and steer Parma’s rare chances away. Pavan slotted in well, proving he’s a decent back up. He almost put Livorno 2 up right after the half. Parma managed to get 1 back with Reginaldo slapping in a Lucarelli assist. Then 30 minutes later the fat lady sang Bella Ciao and that was the game.

The Amaranto Liberation Army should have won this game. I’m not saying we deserved to, but certainly had more than 1 opportunity to take three points.

1-1	Livorno remains at an uncomfortable 2 points above the last relegation spot. We will need to spank Reggina on Wednesday to give us a fluffier cushion, all that without Marco Amelia. On the bright side of things, all the remaining matches will be juicy and hard fought. Forza Calcio !

Highlights : (Sorry, I can’t find actual highlight but here’s the Livorno goal )

RECUPERO: 0’ – 6’

Disorganised thoughts:

You can’t say anything about Fabio Galante’s work ethic, motivation or implication. He’s everywhere, running his ass off, trying to head out in every corner/free kick. He puts in so much blood, sweat and tears, but for all his valiant efforts he lacks so much talent. If he had Andrea Gasbaronni’s work ethic, he’s be a Serie C1 player right now.

Andrea Gasbarrrrronnnnni pisses me off ! This guy has immense talent. I remember him from his Palermo Serie B and Azzurrini glory days.He even managed some decent displays at Sampdoria. However, he has (had?) the potential to be nell’ giro of the Italy squad. He ‘s light years ahead of Pasquale Foggia in terms of pure skills but can’t manage any kind of consistency

Lucarelli got mixed reviews from the fans, but they were whistling everybody at the end of the game. So a f( r )action of the fans whistled, big deal! The images showed otherwise. Unfortunately, on TV the whistles overwhelm the other fans.

Cristiano Lucarelli’s a star! He worked his ass off all game. He provided a beautiful pass on the only Parma goal and didn’t even celebrate it. I’m guessing out of respect. I’m a Lucarelli fan, I don’t care what others think; the guy’s a class act. He has done too much for this team; he’s too emotionally attached to it to merit any kind of hate. His former team mates went to greet him with enthusiasm and sincere affection in the tunnel before the encounter. It’s not like he’s playing for Pisa god damn it !

FT : I knew what kind of ambience it was gonna be. It didn’t turn out as bad as I thought it would. I heard talks of demonstrations and other initiatives, so I was in the dark. I’m happy that the fans were rooting for Livorno. I played my game trying to bring some respect to the people that have always appreciated me. Everything remained very civil in my opinion. It could have been worse. I knew today was going to be different than a year ago. After the Reggina game they were screaming to me, calling me a sell-out. That was different, it hurt me. Today could have been worse seeing I was an adversary.

I only have respect for the guy and the fact that he has big enough balls to take a stance on issues.

If someone deserved the whistling, it was Aldo Spinelli !

Here’s the classic Le Iene Di Canio vs Lucarelli Interview

– The best free videos are right here

Jose Vidigal looked impressive! And that’s only because a step above adequate is the best you can get out of the aging Portuguese player. And he wants you to know that, contrary to Kaka he doesn’t belong to Jesus, but he hearts Gesù nonetheless!

Minchia these 2 teams have good attackers. But none of them can get them a decent number of useful ball !

Purely in terms of brut talent, Diego Tristan was clearly a step above everybody on the field on Sunday. But he has the stamina of a Fried chicken breakfast eating, 3 pack a day smoker and version of Bobo Vieri. His stamina bar is empty after 45 minutes at best!

Hit the fuckin’ gym, you rich bastard! He better start scoring goals on the way to salvation.

GC Camolese needs to know how to usefully sub in Diamanti or start getting Bogdani to play half decent.

Marco Amelia was as solid as usual. Maybe that’s why he’s so underestimated. His goal-keeping mini miracles are taken for granted week in and week out. He suffered a bad knock during the 2nd half and needed to be replaced. Nothing more than a nasty ass contusion and should miss 1-2 games at most, if any. A Marco Amelia at 42% is better than Alfonso De Lucia any day. Roma should purchase his ass and profit from Doni’s sale. Marco Amelia’s a Romanista at heart and has never denied it. Doni cost absolutely nothing (I believe he personally paid for his own ”cartellino”) 1 less brazilian on Roma and 1 more Italian. Roma could even loan out Curci to Livorno to sweeten the deal. Considering the money from the sale of Donadoni + the Curci induced rebate, he wouldn’t cost Roma that much. That way Marco Amelia doesn’t have to move to London or Kiev, and he gets to play CL football for his hometown club.

Aho Aldo! Send Rosella Sensi a Louis Vutton gift certificate and get the negotiations started. Amelia deserves that at least that you try.

Forza Ragazzi! Prendiamo i tre punti a la Reggina !
