3 Games = 2 points

By: Marco Stucazzo | September 13th, 2009

The Diamond-less Livorno have played Cagliari,Napoli & Milan and we have come away with 2 points in the table. Best case Scenario we would have 4 right now but these games have shown us that we can expect some exciting, aggressive football on the way to salvezza all season long. Our only problem right now is putting the ball in the net. We’re creating nice chances but aren’t finishing !

Randomness :

Tavano and Lucarelli are starting to gel well together

Our defence is solid and deep !? Miglionico,Perticone and Diniz have been fairing well and we have this Rivas who has yet to see minutes. Plus Romano Perticone can play the flank for some added defensive coverage over.

Antonio Candreva has already made me forget about Massimo Loviso and if he would have scored off of a free kick against Milan i would even be saying Alè Diamanti right now. His speed, skills and vision are one of the reasons Livorno management decided to cash in on the Diamond in the rough.

We we’re unlucky to not get 1 point in Napoli

The pace on his squad is impressive

Luigi Vitale is better than Mirko Pieri

One game doesn’t prove anything but Mozart should be a very positive addition to this Livorno side.

We should have been up at half time during the Milan game

We can reach salvezza before the last game of the season if we start closing down our many chances

HIghlights :

Livorno – Milan ;

Napoli – Livorno :

Cagliari – Livorno :

you boys are looking really good so far this season. If I weren’t such a diehard Romanista I would call Livorno my 2nd club. I respect the play, players, and especially politics.

    Solidarity brothers and sisters.

You commies gave us a run for our money, I am impressed with Diamanti-less Livorno. Candreva has really stepped it up.

2 points, and only 1 goal in 5 matchs…..1 goal!!!!!! Why to go Aldo…..You said that you sold Diamante because we had Tavano and Lucarealli, and scoring goals wouldn’t be a problem……1 goal in 5 matches is a problem………ugghhhhhhhhhhhh!

Someone is going to get a good hiding from Livorno soon and then hopefully we’ll settle and solidify our place.Keep up the good work Marco.
