Albinoleffe 0-1 Livorno, Ué Capolista !

Nico Pulzetti propelled Livorno past Albinoleffe in Bergamo and brought the Amaranto Liberation Army up top of the Serie B table. Only this time, we’re alone at the top, no more sharing. Livorno didn’t manage to dominate the game but the defense is still solid and Albinoleffe isn’t a bad squad. The consistency of the squad, especially the defense, has been our main asset since the beginning of the season. Kudos shall be sent to Mr. Acori once again as this group is a solid bunch and they’re showing a lot of character and cohesion on the pitch and have been getting better since day one.

Yes Marco this team looks like it could go all the way(fingers crossed).A far cry from the dissaray of last season.They’re playing good football as well as winning games.Let’s hope Aldo doesn’t spoil it by sticking his two cents in and leaves Mr.Acori and the team to simply get on with it.

I’m planning a trip to Livorno in a few weeks and wonder if anyone has any recommendations – places to eat and drink etc. Also, can anyone advise on words to some of the songs? My repertoire is small and at my last game (Espanyol away) I was quiet for most of the game and could only join in a couple of chants, when I was desperate to add to the fantastic noise from the Livornesi!
