Ancona 2-2 Livorno, Diamanti Bags Brace and Full Highlights of Serie B

By: Marco Stucazzo | October 31st, 2008

Another game, another point for Livorno. The squad is playing solidly as of late but we can’t seem to find consistency in winning. The defense is there, the squad is compact, Acori is coaching well but the goals haven’t been coming as much as expected. Tavano isn’t ripping the nets as expected. Good thing is that the young ones, Rosi and Candreva have been progressing greatly each and every week. Rosi now has his defensive problems fixed and Candreva has shown flashes of brilliance and his versatility has been coming into hand. Acori uses him pretty well. Not to mention the Loviso-Pulzetti-Bergvold midfield that could easily be starting for at least 4 Serie A teams right now.

2-2 at Ancona isn’t a bad result. Check out all the stats here !

So we’re in 10th place with 16 points, which is 5 away from front runners Sassuolo, not too shabby. As you can see, Diamanti scored 2 beautys with his lethal left foot again. Things are looking good.

Forza Labronici !

Another draw keeps us in touch with the leaders but a couple of back to back wins wouldn’t go amiss. Great goals again from Ale Diamante and from your write up Marco another good team display. Forza Livorno.

How much longer can we say Tavano is not scoring as expected? What I mean is, how long can we keep expecting him to score? Continually doing the same thing and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity right?

    :)

Anyway I am quite pleased with where Livorno is right now. Especially after putting in 2 vs. Rimini it looked like Livorno had already packed up and gone home.

Hmm with tonight’s goal he has 7 in 12 games. And we still have another half, I guess I can’t complain about Tavano.

Though he did blow two easy ones in the same half.
