Livorno – Milan, Free Bonus Game !
By: Marco | February 12th, 2008Milan - Livorno
* let me first apologise for this half assed non-preview, and my awful writing skills
Livorno will be facing AC Milan on Wednesday. They’ll be making up the time lost when Milan took that Japanese vacation of theirs late last year. For me, this game is like the free ball you get while playing Pinball (no, I wasn’t born in the 1920’s) It’s our game in hand so it’s not the end of the world if we don’t obtain points in Milan. On the other hand, if we do manage to upset Milan or just pick up 1 point, it’ll be an excellent surprise
A win for Milan would bring the Rossoneri to 4th place in front of la Viola, for the last Champions League qualifying spot. The Amaranto can climb the standings with some points.
Milan and Italian soccer have a new saviour, Alberto Paloschi. The kid scored on his 1st touch, in his 1st Serie A game. Now that’s what you call a decent debut. He will probably get the start in this game, I hope Livorno can use that to their advantage, as talented as he is, Paloschi’s still a Serie A virgin.
Tavano will want to score against a team who’s in the top half of the table and GC Camolese won’t be counting on a suspended Davide Balleri. Question is, will he go for the 4-4-2 with Edgar Alvarez, the 3-4-1-2 with Diamanti as a trequartista or just stick one of the twins on the flank. Let’s see what happens !
