Livorno 1-1 Reggina, Not so Sexy Six Pointer

Erjon Bogdani managed to score against one of his old clubs but Livorno only garnered 1 measly point at home. This game was a strange one and I was split screened between Livorno and the Derby. Honestly it looked like Portugal vs Greece 2004. Livorno managed at least 75 % possession in the 1st half, were looking as dangerous as ever and then Reggina pulled a Franco Brienza out of their asses and managed to score on the only opportunity they had all game (And I get the feeling Marco would have stopped that shot)

1-1 is a crappy score, especially after seeing Diamanti work the other Amaranto defense all night. Ale Diamanti needs to learn how to distribute a bit better, no one’s knocking on his talent but his decision making needs some work. I’m sure GC Camolese will give him another chance on Sunday, seeing how Diamanti was playing Serie C1 ball last year. Livorno ended the game with a Andalusian-Italian-Albanian trident with Tristan coming in with Bogdani and Diamanti. Even Tavano made a 25 minute cameo. Unfortunately, Reggina keeper Campagnolo managed to channel his inner-Marco Amelia to save Reggina from defeat.

Picking up 3 points was a must against fellow Amaranto basement boys, but at least we managed 4 out of 6 against a direct opponent.

Salavation is near !

Nowhere to post about the Udinese game. I think the real problem with Livorno is that they are just completely awful.
