Livorno 3-0 Piacenza, monologo amaranto che porta al primo posto

Livorno are finally seeming to hit a positive stride. The Rossini-Diamanti-Tavano trident just needed 28 minutes to put this game away from reach from Piacenza. Minutes in Tavano scores a nice little tap in from a Diamanti Cross. 12 minutes later Diamanti decides to take matters in his own hands and smack one in directly from a corner kick and Rossini completed a perfect Candreva pass 60 seconds later to seal the deal. 3-0, defense played great whenever Piacenza managed to enter our half. Hell Alfonso De Lucia even decided to trip a Piacenza player because he was getting bored. He wanted to practice penalty taking and see if his reflexes are still on point, bam Parata 3-0. Everything went so well from then on that even Danilevicius got some time, and yes, he managed to waste an easy chance, don’t you worry.

  Fantastic to see the boys doing so well. Livorno returning after only one year, and Bari of course, would be fantastic for Serie A. I think you guys have a team that can try to compete for 8-12th place next year.

  Candreva is really, really coming into his own eh? Can’t wait to see him tearing it up for Livorno next season. You guys are like Barcelona of Serie B, and Diamanti is the Messi!

  I wish they could have a heftier lead but 1 loss and the best goals against average is more than enough ! Spinelli really pulled something special out of his ass when finding Diamanti in Prato down in C2 a couple of years back.

  And Candreva ! Fuck, i’m speechless, the kid disloged Bergvold, a decent midfielder, in less than 10 games. And Aleandro Rosi is looking good, but fucking good, as a defensive back ! That kid has the skills of an excellent attacking winger and he’s big,fast and tall
  Acori’s really teaching him well with the Defense. Dare i say it but two future Azzurri’s right there !

  Many thanks for the highlights Marco. Livorno are playing terrific at the moment with everybody chipping in. Poor Danil couldn’t score in a brothel though. Has the arrival of Cellerino woke up Tavano? Long may it continue. Didn’t seem much of a crowd there,maybe it was the bad weather.
  I’ve booked flight and hotel for the game against Modena in April,the only game I could squeeze in,really looking forward to it. Forza Livorno!!
