Livorno Lose 6 Points, Vika$h Goes AWOL, Trotsky and Pastries

*Vikash Dhorasoo is going back to France(needed to get that foto at least once) after his clash with Giancarlo Camolese. See, GC Camolese promised V-Money he would get to play from the get go this weekend if he came to the Ritiro of Salsomaggiore with the squad. The only thing Camolese omitted to tell the Indo-Mauritian dude from France is that he would be starting Saturday for the Primavera squad. V-Ka$h never showed up and has yet to be found. VD goes AWOL…

On to the Game:

Livorno looked much better than in recent weeks, even with Francesco Tavano finally finding the back of the net, but they still didn’t manage to get any points.
Livorno came back from an early strike from ex-labronico Morrone, Nico Pulzetti initiated the comeback with a nice run and Tavano finishing it off with a nice shot that would make his Momma proud. They managed to get the lead in the 51st minute when Paci handled the ball in the area. Tavano slotted home the rigore 2-1. After Paci equalised 3 minutes later, Tavano came this close to getting the lead and his full dignity back but he missed. Then…uhh, not so good. Morfeo scored the winner of a ball that, for bitching and complaining purposes, was clearly passed the by line. I’m sure Francesco would disagree though.

Livorno sunk (not stunk) in the last part of the game, coming close but not enough to get a cigar. You know those expensive Cuban ones, that WE can buy here in Canada.

I ‘m wondering if Livorno got that Memo about how Serie A started in August this year…

GC Camolese was pissed after the game trying to out scream Aldo Spinelli. Johnny Camels claimed that Livorno needed to bring back at least a point from this game. He blames the physical fitness of his players for the defeat saying that even if the squad looked in better shape than the previous outings, the fitness level of his players is still sub-par.

Livorno looked compact and on better form than in their recent displays but fell short once again. Nobody looked impressively awful but the team still didn’t manage to score a third one or bring a point back to Livorno. They shot 8 times on goal and had about the same possession % as their Parma counterparts. Nico Pulzetti sent a couple of nice chances wide and Tavano and Bogdani seem to have found some sort of understanding up-front.

The half-time substituion of Matteini for D. Morfeo was a smart move by the Parma boss who gets to sit on the bench again on Wednesday.
For a GialloBlù point of view (yes it does rhyme) of the game head on to Francesco’s page

1917-russian-revolution.jpg

Livorno need to win on Wednesday. Not because they’ll be mathematically eliminated from Serie A contention this year if they lose, but in honour of the month of October. October is the perfect month to spark a Revolution, 90 years ago this month Russia was on fire and I think the Czar was as well…

No highlights yet, not even with questionable italian pop, so here’s Nanni Moretti’s musical bout a Trotzkyiste Pastry Chef. Enjoy!

Oh, Dhorasoo. It’s as if he lives his life with one finger on the self-destruct button at all times.

BWAHAHHAHHAHA!! That Dhorasoo story is fantastic. I gotta say, though, telling him he’s starting but not mentioning it’s for the youth team? That’s dirty pool, man.

that’s a common practice in Italy though. If a player is just coming back from injury or isn’t 100% fit they usually play with the Primavera squad to regain form.

Popular meaning what, we comment on stories about him? I comment on stories about Trezeguet, too, and I hate that fucker.

It’s just that my girlfriend mention something about Vi-Ka$h as well the other day. She’s french but she doesn’t care for football.

I’m just wondering if Dhorasoo was popular with the ladies for some reason !

I mean V-Ka$h isn’t exactly at the Trezeguet level for his career

3 is the official number of opinions i need to make generalizations about the female gender…

I just put up a post on him on my France pagethat sums up my Dhorasoo feelings. A thoroughly aggravating person with beautiful eyes, maybe? :-)

The French press are saying that Dhorasoo is saying that his contract reads that he’s not contractually obligated to play with the kiddies, so he didn’t. This may be true, but that doesn’t make his actions smart.
