Livorno Take On Zampagnaless Atalanta

Here it is, the last game of the year! Livorno welcome Atalanta after a week off because Milan was to busy winning the Club World Cup in Japan.

The good news is that the Amaranti are still one little point above the relegation zone with 14 points total. Dario Knezevic is back from suspension, so Camolese will reunite the 3-headed monster that is a Grandoni-Galante-Knezevic defense.
Super Dane Martin Bergvold is ready to return to link the midfield with the attack.
Diego Tristan and Francesco Tavano are sure to be pairing up again. The Spaniard has broken his Serie A duck against Roma 2 weeks back. Let’s just hope Tristan will double his goal tally before the winter break

The bad news is that Marco Amelia decided to join his family a little early for the Holiday season so De Lucia will be filling in for the injured Roman. Nico Pulzetti, Simone Pavan, Antonio Filippini and Fausto Rossini will all be looking from the sidelines for this one. What a wonderful Christmas present 3 points would make for the Livornese faithful.

Honestly i don’t know much about Atalanta. I know that Zampagna is Fuori Rosa and I hope he’ll come to Livorno during the Winter Break. I love that they have players with names like Ferreira Pinto, Zlatan Muslimovic and Tiberio Guarente.
The Gigi Del Neri crew will be looking to avenge their 3-1 loss to the hands of a perfect Palermo last Sunday.
