Well, there’s always September 2009. No irony or sarcasm from this Romanista.
Our condolences.

The Tuscans had their fate sealed as they lost 1-0 at home to Torino, to leave them six points adrift of safety with only one game left.
“We knew it was going to be a difficult campaign,” said Amelia, who is certain to now move to a bigger club in the summer.
“But we paid a high price for our mistakes and we have been so unlucky. We are all devastated.”
Meanwhile Livorno President Aldo Spinelli has revealed that he has already begun the rebuilding process, which includes finding a new coach to replace Fernando Orsi.
“We have already chosen a Coach and there is a Plan B in place,” Spinelli revealed.
“One of the names is at a Serie A club, and I won’t say who it is because the season is still going on, and the other is Rimini’s Leonardo Acori.
“We are ready to rebuild the squad and the aim is obviously to return to Serie A immediately.”

I am so sorry, Marco… hopefully there will be a Serie B blog for next season. I think there is a market for it. Good luck for next year and I hope that your last game will be a nice sending off
