Long Live Livorno and the letter L
By: Marco Stucazzo | October 19th, 2007
Welcome to the Livorno offside blog, where everyday is the 1st of May. A special welcome to the millions of all the English speaking communist fans of the beautiful Serie A league from around the world.
First let’s talk about yours truly, Commies know it’s all about how the individual comes first;
I have a tendency to put capital letters everywhere, invent words and use the same word over and over also, English is my third language and a half, so please bare with me. I also have of nasty mental disorder that makes me write stupid, uncalled for, jokes. (If you can call them that)
I love my bottom dwelling Livorno team. Livorno is better than what the standings say and is ready to dish it out to the other minnows for the rights to host the likes of Totti and Ibrahimovic for another year.
The departure of Lucarelli over the summer was frustrating but pretty inevitable. I feel lucky just to have had the Comrade Cristiano be capocannoniere wearing the amaranto colour. Spinelli paid less than 1 M$ for his services and sold his contract to a Ukrainian mining company for 12M$ and 2 highly trained canaries. Now that’s what I call a great deal considering Lucarelli is in the over 30 club. That money was splashed on some experienced players as Diego Tristan, Francesco Tavano, Vikash Dhorasso,Erjon Bogdani , Giuliano Giannichedda, and re-Siamesed the Filippini twins. All that with out losing Marco «I wish Gigi was 40 years old» Amelia.
Not to shabby for the Burgundies, but not enough to save Fernando Orsi’s very secure job. Giancarlo Camolese a.k.a Johnny Camels has the task to revolutionize team tactics and get the means of production rolling in Livorno’s favor.
He looks like a regular from Caffe Cosa Nostra
I’ll be honest with you; I have never really seen Camolese in action before. Torino fans have good words for the 46 year old gaffer. I hear he’s a meticulous tactician that tends to be a little overprotective on the defensive side. I don’t see how this is a bad thing for Livorno, anyways Camolese shouldn’t unpack his bags just yet. Aldo Spinelli loves to pull the trigger; he also owns the Italian TV rights for The Apprentice.
Lazio( I just threw up in Paolo Di Canio’s shoes) are coming to town this weekend and I can already smell the refined odour of knife sharpening in the air. When these two teams meet it’s almost a Derby like atmosphere. It’s a known fact that the Lazio fans are completely jealous because they aren’t one of the 4 original maritime republics. You heard me unreducables, Livorno is OG! A full preview of our favourite crazy commies is in the works.
Speaking of crazy commies, our favourite communist/ Livornese captain/Editor-in-chief/Rocco Sifreddi’s best friend had this to say after his brace against the country famous for it’s Durban Poison, South Africa:
“Se il Livorno mi richiamasse mi metterebbe in difficoltà e forse non direi di no’’
I’m not a professional translator but what Lucarelli is trying to say here is that: ‘’ Nobody told me that the Iron Curtain had fallen?!? Donetsk is cold, no beaches, I can’t even pronounce my teams name correctly and what’s all this potatoes and cabbage crap! Get me home!’’
Communists love nostalgia

What the hell has happened to Amelia anyway? Christ, when I’ve seen this year he’s been as bad as Paul Robinson for Tottenham/England. For the Napoli match, he stood on his head for 80 minutes and then committed a ridiculous error. Is he trying to stick it Orsi or is his confidence in shambles at this point?

Thanks Mark
Merci for the Tip Martha as i am computer retarded
and that X doesn’t do justice to my Camolese commentJoe: comparing M. Amelia to Paul Robinson? That’s a low blow right there. Nobody sits on the bench for a World Cup winning team like Amelia does. Marco will be back to his old self again. He’ll show Lazio what a real ‘keeper is like

I knew it was you, Marco420. I knew it.
Welcome aboard and let me just say this: Shakhtar Donetsk paid 2 highly trained canaries too much.

I could tell because this place smells like Oranges and dryer sheets. That and there are Cheeto stains all over the page.
