Thou Who Can’t Finish Shall Remain Winless
By: Marco | October 21st, 2007
No streams available for this one so i haven’t seen anything except for the highlights (Bottom of Post) and some recaps.
Losing to the team known as Lazio is frustrating enough as it is, but losing at home to a squad that was down to 10 men for 30 minutes with Sebastiano Siviglia in the game !!!
Now that’s motive for a little head banging on a concrete wall. Livorno hadn’t lost to Lazio at home since Hungary signed the Anti-Kominterm pack!
Spinelli better build a golden bridge for Amelia to remain in Livorno. If Gianluca Curci (or Churchy as the fox guys calls him) was in net it would have been worse.

Some desultory thoughts:
Ball possession 38.5%! I’m not a statistical analysis genius here but that’s not excellent.
What the hell is wrong with Tavano ?!? Maybe he’s sabotaging Livorno because of his previous Empoli ties because this is not at all a player that scored goals ‘’en masse’’ in 2005/2006
Super 69 Balleri was missing today and it showed.
When the hell are Diego Tristan and Vikash Dhorasoo going to be ready?
i read somewhere that Massimo Loviso, solid since the start, looked like Rosa Luxembourg on the pitch today
Giovanni Pasquale needs to remember that he had enough talent to play in the Champions League with Inter Milan. If he ever wants to see play at San Siro on the home side, he’ll have to do get his shit together soon. Not only is he not up to par but also he’s Italian so that’s 2 strikes against him already. (Perhaps a 6-month stint at Indipendiente would help him)
I know the Burgundy boys will bounce back from this one and strike back with great vengeance and furious anger for those who attempt to poison and destroy…sorry got carried away right there
On the positive side of things : No fan violence important enough to be reported in the media as of now
This just in : Hundreds of Livorno Ultràs take the Livorno dressing room under siege! (it’s Goal.com reporting so let’s just wait for some other, maybe more , credible sources to break out the story )
i’ll try to download the game and get some official toughts and player ratings tomorrow
So it’s bottom dwelling for at least another week.

Genesis were actually quite good up until ABACAB and then it all went tits up. I was an usher in college and saw them live three times (late 80’s) and I can tell you they were fantastic live…not Peter Gabriel fantastic but then again, who is?
